Compucue SDE not connecting to the computer | ADJ Forums

Hello,

I have a compucue SDE that will not connect to the computer. Is there a way to factory reset the device without a computer involved? The hardware device manager can not see the device. I have tried multiple USB cables and different USB ports. I have tried other computers with the same result.

They don't even show up in hardware manager?
What all LEDs on the device show up when it does this?
If verifying the PDF i have to put a device into bootloader mode will work for the latest SDE models. I will post it when I can verify it.

Try this:
You'd just have to take apart the interface, and on the underside of the board (with the serial number), there should be two metal contacts that you can short while powering on the device via USB. Then launch Hardware Manager, flash firmware, and you're good. check the image in the post.

The LED power is lit. LED DMX 1, 2, and 3 are lit but dim. I don't believe the bootloader worked will try again.
