American audio makes great cd players the looping is perfect and the features make performance flawless......I had the american audio 400 600 and now the 1000....The 600 was the most reliable of the units. However the features of the 1000 are the best......This time when american audio introduces a new player, the features can remain basic but the quality needs to be on another level. I dont have a problem with a cd tray as long as the drive lasts......I am in Ms.....it is burning me up to send my players back and forth to american audio.....When the units are serviced they need to serviced back to factory specs and not just a repair.....please adhere to this......I am a faithful american audio customer. I wouldnt care about paying a few extra bucks for a good player....But it needs to be as solid as the cdj-800.......The dcd 1000 and cdi are great but they need to perform hassle free longer.

The cd players can be without effects, real djs dont use a lot of effects during a anyway.

The pitch resolution and sound quality can be better.

However american audio has the best looping and sampling features you can get, but the buttons need to be built to last.

The static player is great.....it needs to be able to hold up to nights of heat and humidity of a packed club on a hot summer night.

Please answer my prayers american audio......I endorse your products every day in mississippi....I need an solution please

I've had my Velocity from early 2004, and I have no problems with my cd tray, buttons or anything like that. The only problem that I have with the Velocity is that it's very sensitive to CD-r's. Other than it has performed excellent. I'm using mine with Final scratch 1.54. Although I can't use effects functions, It loops perfectly and the tempo lock works very well. I'm very happy right now. I recently bought a DCD-610 dual disc after my other American Audio dual disc broke. I was very upset with the new one. One of the sides worked fine but the other side wouldn't read the cd. After I put the cd in, it would click 6 times and come up "No Disc". I was very upset and I am still waiting to receive a new one. This is very frustrating because I've got gigs every weekend and now I don't have a dual disc that works correctly. I don't have the time or the money to deal with these problems
