altering default settings

is there any way to alter the default settings of a fixture?

i'm trying this in the DMX values screen, with the "Default/Fade" encoder, but the changes are not being saved.

Hi, in the DMX values screen, tap the gear icon button to go into the beam editor and try to adjust min and max values there. it won't solve everything but it should help. If you mess something up, you'll have to delete the fixture and re-patch it to revert back to original settings.
