My surface will not control any of my fixtures

The page window doesn't not change from u1. No buttons light up. The unit was purchased in May 2022. What can be done to remedy this situation. Brampton Ontario 🇨🇦

Hi. When It shows U1 you don‘t have a Connection to your IPad. Check the Wifi Connection. If it‘s connected whit an Isb Cabel disconnect the iPad an Turn It back in the iPad. Wait a Little bit. Normaly It shows the Connection via Wifi or USB.
