What version of Pro are you using?

Make sure you're using the very latest version.

If you're using a very old (or dodgy) version then it won't have the native support.

i did update to ver 6.12. asio drivers there firmare update is there. the LE version is working. when i load in pro the vms will light up the buttons will also light. when i load a video in and hit the cue nothing. will not play cannot jog video nothing. no reading on vu. plan flat nothing lol

Where are you located? If you are local to me I can help you out in person. Did you ask on VDJ's forum? I have had no issues with VDJ Pro. I assume you have a legal copy of pro. Torrented versions of VDJ, have many "features" to make them hard to work with.

I have the VMS4 as well. Started with VDJ LE then went to Pro but had no issues with the controler or software.

I´m using VDJ Pro 6.1.2 too and have with that no Problems. Meet us in VDJ-Forum, there are a lot of users with VMS4 an Pro-Version!

Mario sounds to me like your sound is not configured correctly. the vms4 is being picked up by vdj since the leds are light up. please route your audio properly to the vms4.

ok i am using a leget paid for version of vdj pro.

what are the sound card settings i should be using seems i guess the ones i am using are not correct. and yes i am on vdj forums under the name poohbear. been seaching all over there for the answers also. i will also look for you guys there

For PC with VDJ Pro.
Connect your VMS4 to your PC
In VDJ Pro Go to the config menu, go to sound setup.
Inputs, choose no (if you have no inputs)
For outputs choose "External Mixer"
For sound card, select the VMS4

Also if you were a VDJ Pro user prior to using the VMS4 you still need to install the LE version of VDJ that came the the VMS for the VMS4 skin, mapping, etc.

I have the vms4 and vdj pro, I get sound through my vms4 but iam having trouble getting the vms4 mapping to work with vdj pro

Do you have a solution for assign the tactile strip for move in the browser on Virtual Dj Pro ? I ask in forum of VDJ but they have no solution for me (and us of course)

The only solution i found is Shift + Effect (or sample) bouton to move in the browser of VDJ. But this is not easy because i must use my 2 hands...

I asked this a long time ago, and was told (by Atomix) that the reason they could not assign the touch strip to browsing is that the VMS4 design changed between demo and commercial units.

Some of the internal components of the VMS4 were changed/removed, so whereas early VMS4 units could clearly be seen using the strip to browse (on YouTube videos taken at trade shows back when the VMS4 was being used with Traktor), the strip no longer works in a suitable way to enable Atomix to map it for browsing.

Whether this is insurmountable or not I don't know - it's just what Atomix said.

In fact there is two fonction on the Slide,
You have TOUCHSLIDER and TOUCH_STRIP_BTN.
TOUCH_STRIP_BTN is when you touch the slider and TOUCHSLIDER is when you move on the slider.

I don't understant how they can use in CDJ Script "shift + Touchslider" for move the place in the song but only with the touchslider they can not move in browser.

I hope in VDJ 7 they found a solution...!

Ps : i have try for TOUCHSLIDER : "param_greater 0% ? browser_scroll +1 : browser_scroll -1" But the browser move only to down but not to up...

So i use S_TOUCHSLIDER : "param_greater 50% ? browser_scroll +1" for up my Browser... Not a good solution for me
