while the system is on it just flickers off but not entirely, the LED's just dim and the sound goes off for about 2 seconds and return all this without anyone near the mixer this is besides the static when I touch the jog wheels.

Haven't done this but I always use the power supply on with the laptop.
Hey Sergio, thank you for your reply I just tried using the mixer without the PC and it played flawlessly did not flicker so what is the problem??

I changed he USB cable, used different Laptop with windows 8.1 no touch screen Asus and it does cut off using VDJ and not using it including the static problem.
Are you connecting the power supply when running the VMS4.1 with Virtual DJ?

Yes I am connecting the power supply while running the VMS4.1 with virtual DJ.
Just tried it with no PS and it works flawlessly does not cut off, using the USB only.

It could be a defective power supply. If under warranty, ADJ will send you a replacement power supply. Call the support team @ 800-322-6337 ext 592
