Velocity or DCD 1000?

both units are great.. the 1000 & Velocity have basically the same features but the 1000 has more features , and the velocity is built stronger then the 1000. so either way depending what your gonna be doing you can't go wrong.

go with the velocity its made alot better.

I must say the 1000 is a much better unit. Easier to navigate, and the features make it more fun to DJ with. The Velocity is great, but you don't get the exact same feeling when you Dj with the 1000. Trust me.

But one more thing you said the dcd pro 1000 has extra features but how come the velocity is more expensive than dcd pro 1000?

because it's just built different.. The 1000 has CD trays, and the Velocity has CD Slots. The CD Slots are more expensive, and they really don't do anything major for the DJ. The 1000 has more feature better computer upgrades without all the expensive parts.

best thing to do is try them both before you buy one.
