All right, so I have my Tri-Pack Live running at half volume and the sub half way up and it's all good for about 10-15 minutes. Then the sound cuts out spontaneously for roughly 20 seconds. It's not my computer set up because everything else is still running hot. All of sudden the sound will kick back in and then it will drop out again a couple minutes later...very annoying.
I fixed this once by turning down the sub a bit (I think this fixed it...) but sometimes this isn't an issue at all.
It all seems pretty random and I wonder if it could be a loose solder or something...it just seems odd.
The protect light doesn't come on as far as I can tell and I can hear no audible clipping of the signal. So I'm not sure if it's that. I've never been watching the light as it's cut out so I don't know if it just flashed or is supposed to stay on when it cuts the sound.
I've also come to the conclusion it may be overheating. Last time it happened was at an outdoor gig on a hot day (I live in South Florida). Or could it be that the internal fans on this model just suck?
Anyway, this is a pain in the dick because I want to run it at a high volume and this problem doesn't manifest itself untill I do ust that. I can run it for hours at listening volumes, but when I get to dance floor levels this problem crops up. Any ideas?
