Timeout during the firmware upload

The f/w update is not working for me.

I'm getting a timeout just a few seconds after starting the procedure - and yes I'm doing everything correctly!

There are no other USB audio devices connected. There's no audio software running. The VMS4 is not set as default audio device under the control panel. I'm connected directly, not via a hub.

(later) OK I solved it - seems like you have to deselect the sound card in VDJ as well, even though VDJ is not running.

Part of the problem might also be update speed. When I had trouble I tried other updating software instead and it had the exact same issues with 1msec latency between sends.

I think if the firmware update had just a bit more latency it would work even without the audio deselect, although the audio deselect is a good interim fix.

look that windows not in use as a sound card, or that the trapped any buttons, these are the two cases that I have given my to do the update and gave me timeout
