I haven't been very lucky to finding the proper looking fixture head images in the Scan Library Editor. I have a couple of LED par 64s that I've created profiles for and though they are puck lights, I've made do with the generic settings and everything has come into Stage View OK.

But, when I try to view the Chauvet 4 Bar, there is only 1 light. It's supposed to have 4 independent lights on the display. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem? I'm not sure if it's a profile problem. The profile seems to matches the manual though.

Thanks

I believe that there is a workaround to this problem, however. If you look at the DMX profile, you'll see that the first three channels control functionality of the fixture, while the next 12 channels control the 4 PAR cans independently.

If you use a dummy channel for the first three (or even leave it empty if you don't plan to use that functionality), you can use four generic 3-channel RGB fixtures in setup mode, and it will show up as four fixtures in 3d mode.

If you do want to use some of that functionality, you can get some of that back if you search and find (or build) a 6-channel profile that includes channels 1-6. Then add three generic RGB fixtures after that. Only one of the fixtures in 3d will show the effects, but it's better than nothing.
