Serato working with the vms4

That is a great question for the folks at Serato! They are the ones that need to make this happen.

i'm using traktor scratch with the vms without issues.

since the mixer part of the vms is analog, you can use it also with any timecode based system.

in case of SSL and TSP (or any "dongled" digital vinyl system) you have to use their respective soundcards and cannot use the internal soundcard of the vms.

i'm not exactly sure how the midi implementation in ssl works, but in traktor you can assign all the midi commands freely to your likings. i was under the impression that newer versions of ssl can do that too (limited, though)?!

you can map ANY midi device to work with SSL or VSL but you will not be able to use the sound card of the vms4. so you would need a sl box plugged in to your vms4

Please could anybody tell me if vms4 is going to be able to control Serato and when is this going to happen? on the American audio website they said they are working on it but when is this going to happen? thank you
