i'm using traktor scratch with the vms without issues.

since the mixer part of the vms is analog, you can use it also with any timecode based system.

in case of SSL and TSP (or any "dongled" digital vinyl system) you have to use their respective soundcards and cannot use the internal soundcard of the vms.

i'm not exactly sure how the midi implementation in ssl works, but in traktor you can assign all the midi commands freely to your likings. i was under the impression that newer versions of ssl can do that too (limited, though)?!
really, how hard is it to read the answers already given in this thread??!
