My school got a new scene setter 24 for our drama department. I cannot get the hold button to work, it is set on mix chase and when I hold it down the hold light lights up but it doesn't hold. With the button held down the sliders still change the lights even with the button down. Help

Hi, have you watched the 2-part video tutorials for this board?

I believe this is covered in the videos..?
Yes I watched the videos, I want to use the hold button in the manual scene mode which the videos don't cover
To me, with my limited knowledge of the product as it was before my time (2007) it seems like the HOLD only applies to chases, not manual.
I can try to find someone who knows, but am unsure, it's a really old console and a lot of us haven't ever used it, let alone the specific function you are asking about. I'll see what i can find, but try running a chase and see if HOLD works in that mode?
CONFIRMED: One of the R&D managers that has been here for a long time confirmed that the HOLD is only for during a chase, hence the LEDs above the HOLD button to indicate which chase mode you are in.
