I can't seem to find any instructions on setting up manual buttons on unit. I'd like to save a few presets directly on the unit for some simple static scenes that don't require tablet control.

hi, that is only supported if you use the hardware with MyDMX 3 on a windows or Mac computer, and write scenes to the stand alone memory. The memory function is only for when using the device on MyDMX 3 software, it is not able to write scenes from the GO App to the memory. I know that part can be a little confusing, so i just wanted to clarify.
Thanks Jingles. That's what I gathered from a little more poking around. I will have to download that later and see how involved it is. Cheers!
I am able to connect to the unit and control things with myDMX3, but still can't save a standalone scene to the unit. Only options on unit in device manager, are to erase show, write empty show, or write factory demo.
It should let you store the scenes, unless you are using over your allotted Stand alone memory channels? did you purchase anything from the store? you should be able to upgrade the stand alone channels you have available. Storing scenes should be just like doing it on the RM see my video: https://youtu.be/vtG97pjiwww
I am trying to do this with a demo version of myDMX3. Wondering if that is the issue. Standalone is grayed out on the Tools menu.
Apparently, the GO units do not come with a license?
Demo version means no hardware which also means nothing to send too, so of course it isn’t working haha.
Crap, I was hoping just to use it quick to dump a few presets into the box. No such luck...
You would have to have the MyDMX GO hardware plugged into the computer via the usb cable it came with as well as any sort of license upgrades to use it on my DMX and store scenes.
I did have it plugged into USB, computer and program recognize it. I can control lights with sliders in Program Manager. I'm not seeing any license info with the hardware. No matter what I do the program stays in Demo mode. From the web page it says I have 30 day trial, was thinking it would be more than a simple demo. For $250 you'd think that they would let you talk to it with the computer too.
