How loud does my music have to be and where should my light be located in order for the sound activated program to work properly?

Just don't put your light right next ot the speaker and you should be OK. If it is too close the light will just go crazy. Usually about a good 5-10 feet away from any speaker with a volume level of I don't know say 3-7 or 8 out of 10 lol. If you have one give it a try and play with it. It doesn't work the exact same for everyone.
