Revo 4 & DJ UC3 remote control

Hoping someone can help with this Question...

I've got a couple of Revo 4's which work in Master/Slave mode with a DJ UC3 remote which I use to black them out when I need to.

I've got a wedding this weekend where the bride wants just white lights for her first dance... just slowly rotating (Kind of like mirror ball effect).

Can this be done via the UC3 and then switched back to normal ? or do I need to control them via DMX (Which would then break the master/slave duplication when switching back to sound activated).

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey Howie, This really can't be done via the UC3 controller. The Revo 4 doesn't rotate the LEDs like the Revo Rave does, so the rotating effect you won't get. You would also need to DMX the Revo 4 in order to get just white for that one dance. One thing that might be possible is to get a Quadphase or a sparkle LED in order to get the white rotating mirror ball effect that the bride is after. Hope this helps.

Hi James,

Yep, that's fine.. I know the R4 won't rotate or anything, it was just how to get White LED's doing the "imitation" rotate show that I needed, but as it can't be done via the UC3, I'll use MyDmx to set the show & LED's, then just switch back to master/slave mode after the first few songs on the back of the units.
