Quad Phase Master/Slave?

Just grabbed a pair of these, american DJ Quad Phase lights.Really imprtesed with them overall. Great brighness...they fill the entire room, coupled with my laser.....it makes from one killer light show.

My question is when i link them up together via XLR.....as master and slave....in the options there's master, slave1, and slave2 ( light show mode )

Obviously one will always be " master"...but whats the diference between slave1 and slave2 ( light show )?

My main purpose is to leave these in sound activate mode.
