no dmx signal

i have 2 older dj spot250's. i have four in total. i have two that work fine with dmx controllor, and the other wont pick up the signal. i tried different controlors, cables, hooking them up one at a time, rest light to manufacture default. nothing works. used a DMX Operator 192, dmx 50, and 2 other controlors. as soon as you plug the fixtures they go intro normal test mode. then they go into one of the preselected programs stored in light. so anybody have any ideas????

This may sound insulting, but are they addressed properly. They may be set to a preset mode and not in a DMX receiving mode. I would suggest reseting them in any case, to the addresses of the two lights that work and see what happens.

Make sure they are not set in stand alone mode. That may not be changed in a factory reset. Also, check to see if the mode the fixture is set to is like the other fixtures that are working properly. Otherwise, you may have a bad input.

yeah i reset to factory setting and on both. same problem. but it does blink "test run" with means it is in stand alone mode. but as soon i plug dmx it should stop running test run. that is the way it works on other. i called american dj tect5 support and was on hold for a 45 mintues then the phone picked up and slamed back down on reciever...lol somebody might of had a bad day... will try aragin 2morrow

ok found the problem.... i changed a MAIN PCB board and it solved problem. ok so i have to order them at $140 each. still cheaper than a new light....
