need profiles

Also the ssl profiles were limited to just one set of RGB only channels, it never fully supported more than 3 channel of RGB per fixture file. you should really consider upgrading to MyDMX 2.0 as that is a thing of the past.

about the rgb channels of the showtec: I allready suspected that. no real problem, it is working on stage, only programming is not as easy as you can't see the colors while editing. ( I do the programming at home without the lightset )

about the dmx1 versus 2...

I must admit I already installed mydmx2 on my pc and I noticed the profiles are there and , in editormode, working on all channels.

I'm really tempted to go for the dmx2, but on the other hand, we only run a very basic light show for our band ( only colored lights programmed in scenes and controlling them with an akai midimix, (working great, plug and play) and I think our first priority will be to get rid of the old crappy ledlights ( like the showtec) and go for some more tripar plus
but it def. remaines on my wishlist.

The dongle plugs directly into a 3-pin DMX input on your lighting fixture. The dongle connects with a computer via a USB connection.
