MyDMX 1 Color and Gobo not displaying in their box

Hi everyone,

I have just recently purchased MyDMX 1.0 (first version)and I am running it with Windows Vista 32 bit and have tried it out for the first time the other day and it responded well. However I am running in to a problem in the color and gobo display box in their respective channels.

What I keep encountering when moving the levels is it displays ‘Col 1, 2, 3, 4’ and not the color itself which it should display. Same problem is occurring with the Gobo channel ‘Gobo 1, 2, 3, 4’ when moving the level instead of showing the actual design.

I have been searching through the ADJ forums and can’t seem to find anyone else with the same problem and I am reaching out in hopes someone can assist me in fixing this or explaining why this is occurring.

Hi everyone,

ok after doing some research I figured out why the color and gobo’s were not showing in their respective channels- there is no profile for the fixture! And it needs to be created. Sorry to all the advanced users I am a newbe so please forgive me.

I am using ADJ’s Vizi Spot Led moving heads and it looks like for MyDMX 1.0 profiles have not been created for this fixture. Anyone know where I can get a link to the ADJ Vizi Spot profile? I was beginning to do it myself in the scan library editor but I am afraid if I miss anything! I looked up the user manual for the Vizi Spot but it does not show which specific color or gobo should be on which value.

Any responses would be awesome.
