So is this different from the COLORstrip profile included with the software?
Also, how do I obtain Mega Panel and Mega Pixel profiles?
Also, how do I obtain Mega Panel and Mega Pixel profiles?
I have the mega panel 7CH mode profile and all the different channel modes for the pixel. shoot me a email at jamesk AT american DJ DOT COM and i can get those to you asap. what channel mode did you want for each? welcome to the forums. Sincerely,
And also the profiles will run the actuallights the same but depending on which one you use you will see it mix RGB in the 3D or nothing at all.

Hello. I've made a profile for the Chauvet Colorbar which has 4 RGB LED panels all individually addressed and dimmable. I was wondering if there was a way to make the panel object for the 3D mode to display the four separate sections. As I have it set up it just displays the color for one of the sections. If there is not, is there a way I can make four separate 3D objects for one profile. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense. I don't have my laptop in front of me right now. Thanks for your assistance.

Well no there is not way as of right now to do it the way you described. but you could use the generic RGB profile as many times over for the fixture. and you can also modify the size of a fixture in the scan library editor. take a look around when you have the editor open next. if you need further help let me know i will post some screen shots. Chauvet LEDsplash 200B light - is there a profile for this?
I just set-up my myDmx software on my PC today, I totaly have no clue what I am doing, but I am trying to use the visualizer to get a show up and going for a wedding this Saturday.
I have 2 Martin Acrobats (there is a profile for them) and I have 2 Chauvet 200B LEDsplash Wash lights but can't seem to find anything for them.
Can I just use another Chauvet LED par fixture? Again, I have no clue. Should I be doing this in the 3d visualizer, or would I be better off doing this live?
Is there anyway that I can get some basic shows set up by Saturday,or am I just dreaming...I really hope that I am not dreaming, I need to get this all together!

Hey Jingles...I am new here and too MyDMX. I am wondering how to get the profile for the Revo III 10 channel as there are a few already in the library for 4 channel ? Also, do you know anything about the Green Cosmic Storm from Extreme Lasers ? Is there a good step by step video or instructions on how to create our own profile for fixtures not already included in the library ? I am finding you and this forum to be very helpful in my learning process and appreciate any feedback or info on this. Keep up the great job !!!
Thanks,

hi,
what program you use to make profiles?
what program you use to make profiles?
We all use the same one. if you look in your program files and open the my dmx folder you will see "scan library editor" that is the program you can use to create your own profiles for fixtures. here is a video i put on you tube explaining how to use that program. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UO1Swkfll9I Welcome to the forums. Spriguns, Welcome. You haven't gone wrong. if you need a profile made cause there is not one in the library already you came to the right spot. I'll make the profiles for you or help you modify the exsistening ones to suit your needs. so if you can shoot me an email with the dmx traits for both of those fixtures and ill get the profiles made. my email is jamesk AT american dj DOT COM. I look forward to helping you out.

There appears to be no profile available for the "Acme LED Dynamo" btw this is actualy a 4 channel dmx fixture not a 6 channel one despite what acme's website says.

So, I take it that the manual is not properly representing the light?
You have choices. 1 is to do it yourself. 2 is to play with the fixture and see if you can figure out all the values. Hopefully, it's more like the manual talks about things the light doesn't do.
So, best bet might be to share values and maybe a description of the light and maybe Jingles has the time to make one for you.
I'd try it myself, but I'm to slammed between hardware failures and shows. I'd rather be slammed due to shows, not due to computer hardware failures(4 failed drives this year, 5 routers, my wireless internet roof-top box, 2 CPUs, it's been rough!)

I need one for the Chauvet DJ Squeeze II. The ones supplied are the older models and there not compatible. I can send you a scanned page of the DMX values.
