LED Pixel Tubes

I am trying to get a particular effect out of the LED Pixel Tube 360s in which the pixels will chase down the tube (not up), and give me live control of color-mixing. There does not appear to be any built-in program or macro for this effect, but there are some that are close to what we're looking for. Anyone familiar with this device with an idea what I could try? Thanks.
