You need to press and hold the menu button for 3 seconds after making changes to the settings.

step 1 - adjust the setting

step 2 - press enter to confirm

step 3 - press and hold menu button for 3 seconds to save change

I go to shnd select program 1-12

step 2 - press enter to confirm
if I press enter at this point it takes me to a second menu slow medium fast
I then have to select one of the above. I take it this is were I press menu

step 3 - press and hold menu button for 3 seconds to save change

Just tried it and the display show shnd6 solid will it stay on that program till I change it?

Sorry for saying it does not work. It certainly has thanks.

Were I was missing was when fast med slow came up I thought I could only press enter then I was pressing menu before that

Now I built my usb dmx interface would of loved the mydmx but alas could not afford it.

Now my question is the same as above how do get sound light over dmx and be able to choose the pattern instead of the random one.

I am ok with the codes for the channels just need the relevant numbers on the channels

The DMX values should be listed in the user manual for that fixture. Have you read the manual? All the info should be in there. Unless I am not understanding your question?

yes all the values are in the manual like I said no problems I even put together my own fixture file as the one that was there was wrong.

Any How here goes 4 channels
1 function set to 255 gives me sound to light
2 chase 1-12
3 speed
4 strobe
if I set c1 to 255 gives me random chase patterns
no matter what I set channel 2 too it stays on random chases i.e. changes chases every 10 sec.
I want the ability to select the chase in sound to light mode if it possible

Oh no, you can't do that. Sound to light is just that, sound and light. No control over it. Sorry.

not to worry I have done macros for all the shows linked to fast speed.

in the settings on c1 it says 10-85 sync show
what does this do
and also 256 dmx channel mode

hmmmm....I Think the sync means all the different sections will do a sync show. Like all do the same thing.
256 channel mode gives you 0-100% intensity for all 256 individual LEDs in the unit.

well I have listed all the chases this thing does
1-12 =sync show
13-24 two light show
24-36 four light show
36 different shows in total
plus sound to light in random mode
plus strobe effect in 3 different speeds for each chase
plus 3 different speeds for each chase
fantastic
however massive let down is no sound to light for each show only gives you random shows which really crap.
How can it be that you can do it from the unit but not in dmx mode what a let down.
Also there should be the ability to change to 256 mode via dmx.
