Need help i have hurricane 1800 flex when connected it continuously gives burst until heat up is required and won't stop at all (this is happening automatically without me triggering fog icon) is there a fix? I know that i can use slider fixtures but it's really inconvenient and defeats the purpose of for icon on live screen

I just checked this, looks like once it is used with the fog button, it doesn't shut off.
You can use the "1 channel smoke" in the _varied listing in the mean time while we have this looked at.
Can you explain what you mean on the 1 channel smoke in varied listing would that be another brand or device?
Yes, when you go to add fixtures, go to the _varied, and then in the fixture listing of the _varied it will be right at the top.
This is not a big deal as a profile doesn't really verify that the actual product is hooked up, its just a channel label set to the DMX address you choose. Make sense?

Hi the Hurricane 1800 Flex profile has been fixed, you should notice if you go to re-patch the profile, that is has a yellowish/amber color dot next to its name, this means it has an update available for it. That update should fix the issue. you will need to be on a WIFI with internet connection to download the updated profile to your device.

So I gave it a try and the cloud button does nothing, under fixtures i am able to use it with slider but again it's inconvenient to have to do all of that
That's weird, i tried it on my iPad and it worked for me. Did you allow the profile to update?
Yes profile updated because before the machine wouldn't shut off, now the cloud icon does nothing, could it be that i am using android tablet

Hi, so some of our other techs in the office just tried this profile on a Samsung tablet and it worked as expected, so were not sure.
you can easily go back to the profile you were using before... at this point its just a name and a profile bug difference...
