It depends on the amount you charge and how well you promote it to your clients. custom steel monograms cost you about $75 to have produced. So, in addition to that, you need to charge for your light fixture, stand, and setup and break down. I charge $200 for a custom monogram with DJ services. You can offer a standard 1 letter monogram that is mass produced for a lot less. A standard single letter monogram costs you about $13. For those I charge $100. But the majority of my clients book a custom.
Appreciate that info ,looking to purchase the new adj ikon gobo .Is that a pretty good "starter gobo???
I tested one this week. Everything about it was great...except for the viewable size. If the design is right on the edge of the viewable measurement, the letters will blur badly. This was the case with the ADJ metal gobo included, and a custom gobo used in a martin pr1. I don't know if something was out of alignment with the projector I tested, but I can't project gobos like that. So I'm sending it back. A big let down for me.
