Hello, I am new to this forum. I just got mydmxgo device a couple of days ago. I have added my fixtures and trying to understand everything. I have 2 Chauvet Swarm Wash FX lights. I wanted to be able to control them individually. I have them set on different dmx channels. I can get one of them to respond but the other one doesn't seem to do anything. Is it best to have them both on the same dmx channel so that they respond together?

There should be no problem addressing them individually, if you put the 2nd one on the same address as the first, does it respond?
I didn't try both of them on the same address yet. I didn't know i could do that until i read more on it. I thought there would be a mx conflict if they were both on the same channel. I will try it when I get home.
By default you have a total of 256 DMX channels to use in the hardware, so as long as you don't use more than 256, there shouldn't be a problem.
So now this is getting frustrating. I have tried putting both of my Chauvet Swarm Wash Fx lights on the same dmx channel. They initially appear to work for a few minutes and then just seem to stop responding to the controls of the mydmxgo. How does the autobeat program work? The lights don't seem to do anything . when the music is playing, however, when i unplug from mydmxgo the lights work as they should. I am thinking about returning the device as it seems to be more involved than just plug and play. What's up?
