Duplicate fixtures / same addresses?

I'm a total noob here so bear with me, but can someone run down the possible drawbacks of adding one fixture to MyDMX and then setting multiple 'real world' identical fixtures to the same address? I'm mainly concerned with the technical issues, although I'd also like to know if there's an easy way to reverse the behavior of one fixture and copy it to another for a symmetrical show.

Sure you can do that. I do it for my par cans. It will just limit any creativity when you program them. If you have 20 LED par 64's then they will all do the same thing at the same time.
