dongle not working

i went to a gig set up all my moving heads and stuff went to plug my dongle in to my laptop a message comes up on the bottom right corner of my screen saying the device you plugged in malfunctioned and windows dosent recognise it i went to the adj website to download the newest software did that still wasent working tried different laptops different cables then i resetted the dongle now it still dosent pick it up what do i do buy another dongle?

Hi, this maybe could have been the driver not recognizing the hardware, in which case on windows just go to C:\MyDMX3\driver and launch the SiudiDriver exe that is in there and it should refresh the driver connection.
you can also try the hardware manager to see if it detects in there or not.
I'd also try a different USB port, or a new USB cable.
