Definately not, the internal crossover of the amp is all that you will need. There is no need to double up on crossover circuits.
Although adjusting the correct frequency on the V3000 is a problem because there is no visual indication of what the frequency is set at as you turn the sub frequency adjustment knob. Your subs are designed to optimially perform at a specific frequency, unfortunately if you are going to use the V3000s internal crossover you're gonna have to adjust it and listen for the best sound.
I wish there was a gadjet that could tell you what frequency you are at. Any one know?
