DJ Videos without videos only Mp3

Hello all

I want to do video DJ. The problem is that I dont have all the music videos especially on my personal mixes.

My question is how can load a song and use a different video for that song without taking 2 decks? (putting the video one side and the mp3 on the other)

Or is there no way? Do I have to only use mp4 to do video dj?

if you are using Virtual DJ, you can use small video (ambient) clips when you play your mp3s..

go config->video-> place a check mark on box -'use this plugin for audio-only files', then choose 'clip bank' from drop down menu..

now within the software click your EFFECTS tab, (just underneath the crossfader on the screen) click on 'Video Effects', click on 'ClipBank' and now start loading up your ambient clips within those boxes to the right of the screen

OR

yes, you can play an mp3 on one side (deck 1)and the video on another side (deck 2) just turn down the volume of the side with the video(if it has sound)

VDJ plays mp4, mov, VOB, avi - but i suggest using mp4's
