I was wondering if there's any way to keep the Dekker in sound active mode, but disallow the blackout after X seconds? I'm in a band and this is our center stage light shooting up from the floor behind us. Looking for this light to slow its roll when we're between songs, but not turn completely off.

If it absolutely has to turn off when there is no sound, is there a way to modify the default "7 seconds" or whatever it is so that it shuts off immediately? A delay like that seems like it will look kind of weird and laggy.

Thanks for any suggestions!

You're going to have to put this on a power pack(where the channel is either ON or OFF). Shut off the channel when you don't want it.

Without doing more research, I would say check the DMX specs and see if it supports sound active in DMX mode. You can always take care of it that way by taking into an OFF mode.

Short of that, have a stage hand drop a box over the fixture between songs.
Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll just let it do its thing until we get a more extensive lighting rig. I have a UC3 foot controller that we could use in conjunction with it to turn it off manually, but I'm utilizing that for my Galaxian 3D currently. I was just hoping there was some sort of options menu to change some of the timings in sound active mode. Looks like I'll have to wait till I'm using DMX control.

Ah well, still way cooler than nothing!
