Hi all, I'm new to the WMX1, and enjoying playing with it. This will be for a lighting setup for a small church's stage. I have some warm white washes, some RGBAWUV pars, and some RGBAWUV light bars. I'm trying to set up presets that apply custom colors to the RGBAWUV fixtures. However, the only way I've found to do that is to create and save Live Edit definitions first, and then select which Live Edit cells are enabled before creating the preset. Works great... except that the Live Edit states override Blinder and Blackout. I'm also concerned that I'll run out of Live Edit cells. I've also tried using the static Color picker to set my colors, but the preset seems to store "we're using color number 3" instead of "we're using these RGBAWUV+dimmer values", so if I change the picker and store a second preset, the first one's changed too. I also want to set fixture colors independently within groups, so the static Color approach isn't going to work anyway as it's group-wide, right? Is there a correct way to customize per-fixture colors that persist in a preset? Thanks!

Hi Jingles, that's a very useful video - thanks! It helps a *little*, because I'm planning us alternating colors between fixtures in a group, and your video showed me that I can do that on the static color page. I'll have to think vary carefully how I'll assign fixtures to groups. However, I'm still hoping for a way to apply per-fixture colors without burning too many of my budget of just 40 live edits. Anyway, you've given m food for thought!
