both right channels unusable

hi,

this is the third VMS 4.1 controller i have this problem with. after a certain time both right channels are no more usable - and i can only allocate both left channels. before i could for example use channel 2 and 3 without any problems. i use virtual dj professional as sw.

the weird thing is that if i plug in an external device via cinch plugs on one of the two right channels i can get sound out of it - but, can not get them to be used within the sw. this makes me go crazy ...

any idea why this takes place ??
