I've used the software for many years now but now have larger shows we put together and it feels like the software is not able to keep up. I'd like to know the best OS (windows or mac) to be running this on. This past season I had the program crash at least 20 times while programming and out at shows (running on a 2018 MB Pro running Big Sur with i9 processor, 32gb of ram, 4gb Radeon pro graphics and 1tb ssd). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe its time to try Windows? A decent gaming rig that meets the best recommended specs on Windows 11 or 10 should work fine. As one of the head support techs for this program, i don't see too many issue reports from Windows machines...
Ok sounds good. I had a feeling that switching might be the next step but before I spent the $ I wanted to confirm. Greatly appreciate your input on that. Is there any certain spec that would be most important (graphics card, ram, processor) when looking for a new machine? I plan to max it out as much as possible anyways, but just wanted to check. Thanks again.
I'm an AMD fan, stopped using Intel years ago, RAM I always recommend maxing out whatever the MOBO can handle and graphics a decent 4GB card should be fine coupled with a Gen 3 or above m.2 SSD.
Awesome, thank you.
