I have two adj light copilot setups on two seperate mobile DJ rigs. Sometimes I daisy chain the two switch boxes and go off of one controller. That works awesome for what I do so far! But I'm adding some LED RGB par can lights that I will want DMX control over. In addition I have two other lights I'm adding to this third tree that are 'dumb' lights and just on/off.
I would like to get one of the switch boxes w/ 4 channels that can work w/ the other light copilots for the two new dumb lights. But for events where I have the RGB intelligent lights, I would like to have DMX control over the whole show (which would mean two 8 channel light copilot switch boxes and the four channel box i mentioned here).
i thought that the palm copilot would give me DMX IN but it only gives DMX out. Surely there is a way for me to convert a DMX 8 channel assignment to the db9 type analog connection that the copilot uses. Then I could just daisy chain them from wherever the dmx in would be.
PLEASE HELP! I've done a ton of searching but just can't find anything yet!
