I just Ebay'd my Dr Sample SP 303 (sniff boohoo and sheyat) after a couple of years of good use.

I just got tired (mobile) of setting the damn thing up on the edge of my American Audio
PS SYS coffin and running the thing thru the
QD3 and mic.

I enjoyed sampling voices and riffs (the PS has a sampler but 3 pads aint sheyat) My
question is why dont American DJ offer a
sampling mixer (also uses the mic section)
Neewmark has one (lousy 12 bit) and Jemini
Cricket makes two models (awful but samples mic)

I'd like to see a nice 10-12" model w/ 4 banks
that sample 2 channels incl the mic, at a nice 16 bit, 40-60sec total time w/ a BNC light.

Or supersize w/ a full size 6 space
19" EIA , 8 bank, 2 minutes @ 16 bits, throw in
a 4 bank flange, reverb, echo and pitch w/ BNC light.
I'm willing to pay $379.99 for the scratch version or $469.99 for the 19" version.....

Aww man, that's a great little sampler. I'm still using one! Of course, with the QMX2, I have that third channel which makes life easier. I usually just setup my samples ahead of time, can't really grab things "on the fly". I mean, you could loop one deck through it, but then your limited to only sampling off that one deck. What you need is a mixer with effect send & return, seperate for each channel. That way, you could send out either deck to the sampler, and not tie up your mic.
That's my next purchase, a mixer with effect send & return. Right after a set of ScanTrons...and subs...and two CDI-500s...But right after that, a new mixer. Big Grin
