This is the 3rd Encore Z7LP that I have had the same issue with where the fixture no longer lights up. It still zooms in and out, but does not light up. The fixture is powered on and it did boot up. It is like it is stuck in block out mode. The address that the light is set to never changes, and I have the fixture set at 18 channel mode. It is fixed installed so it never is moved. it is controlled through WIFLY and with DMX to Go on an iPad.
Have had to replace 2 of the 4 fixtures that have done this same thing(even thing works but doesn't light up, and I purchased the original 4 in May of 2023. So none of them are very old.
So with the lights that have this problem, the light quite working. when I check the address that stays where it was originally set, but the channel setting goes from where I set it (18 channels) to 12 channels. So I thought this was maybe the issue, but when ii set the fixture back to 18 channels, the light still did not emit light.
I am stumped on what to do..
The first encore z7lp I have issues with was replaced by thee company that I purchased it from since it was under their 60 day replace/return policy. The second on they would not exchange but had me ship it directly to ADJ for repair or replacement. Issue I have doing that is it was reported destroyed by UPS. I did purchase insurance but UPS would not refund me for almost 6 months because of their investigation into the matter, so I have to replace thee fixture at my cost until UPS reimbursed me.
So I'm hoping I may get some clarity from someone else having the same issues with the z7lp fixture I am having with fit no lighting up and resetting the channel set up. I have tried the fixture as a stand alone unit and still getting no light from it.
