After 19 years in business, my trailer was broken into and equipment stolen. I lost some good lights in this process. I lost my aggressor (I had this baby for over 10 years and was my favorite effects light) and my Pocket Scan system (4 pocket scans and case.) That was a pretty cool system. If the insurance comes through, I'll be looking for some new lights.

What is your thought of the Aggressor vs. the Aggressor Tri-LED?

I am not sure what I am going to do about the pocket scan system yet. But that was a cool little system.

Yes, that sucks bit time. You have any serial numbers? I could be on the lookout for used gear, but I doubt it will get as far as Sacramento.

A few years ago, I had over $10K in mics, IEM's and wireless transmitters stolen from under my nose at an event by one of the bands. Pick and chose too, didn't clear me out, but "left some of my stuff alone". KILLED my 2008 business and nearly drove me to bankruptcy. Because they stole my wireless transmitters and lavs(not the receivers, those were in use in the rack, I have handheld receivers that go with those as well), those were my bread and butter for corporate events, and I could not afford to replace them.

Here's the kicker: My insurance cancelled me before the event saying I was too "high risk", this after TRIPLING my rates and saying "too bad, so sad, if you want it, you'll pay it", before finally saying "Burp, thanks for your money, now bugger off...." with the phone explanation with the underwriter saying I was too high risk. Yeah, I hope he dies while flying his private airplane(No idea if he has an airplane, private or not).

On the positive side, the Aggressor is a common fixture. Not sure about the Pocket Scans.

Post to Craigslist, post a lot, anywhere. AND: put an alarm on your trailer. You can get one that will install with a car battery that will charge when you haul to keep it fresh. Put sensors that will trip if the doors or ramps are moved at all.

I hope they find who stole your and nail them to the wall. I hate thieves.
I am still waiting on Insurance to see where things go. I have a bunch of sound equipment taken as well (amps, subs, x-over, eq, cases, DJ-Computer, 2 wireless receivers, monitor, console, etc) I have all the sound stuff replaced, now I am waiting to see what the insurance does before I make a move on the lights.

Unfortunately, I don't have the SN's for the lights taken but you don't see Pocket Scans come around all that often. I am out about a total of $8,000 Not enough to put me out of business (I had new speakers on the way when they were stolen) but it was enough to put a damper on my spirit.

I would like to take the opportunity to replace the aggressor with a DMX controlled version so I can cut down the DMX dimmer/switcher boxes used.
