XP-3 Configurations

I have 2 XP-3 (Factory Refurbished Models). They don't keep their DMX addresses after power cycle. One goes to a 999 address, the other goes to a F01 setting. They are connected via XLR cables in a chain with about 7 other DMX fixtures.
My Pocket Scans keep the addresses. The other fixtures have dip switches, so they naturally keep the addresses.

Can anybody help me with this dilema?

Sound like the battery on the unit might be out. Please call our customer support dept at 1-800-322-6337 as they will give you more details. Best Regards.
