Hi, I'm new here, so first I'd just like to say a big HELLO to everyone here.

I received 2 X-Scans today, and after setting them up to make sure they were ok, I discovered that one was much brighter and sharper than the other.

I've tried adjusting the lens focus on the 'duller' unit, but I couldn't get it to look as good as the other unit.

I've attached a photo showing the gobo's on the ceiling...you can clearly see that one is nice and bright and the other one is almost a different shade and is burred around the edge! (Also note that the gogo's are static in the photo)

Please don't think that I've not tried adjusting the lens focus as this was the first thing I did.

Reading through the forum I've not seen anyone else with this problem, so I hope someone can help.

I'm looking forward to getting it all sorted as the built quality of these things is great (apart from the issue raised on just the one unit).

Thanks in advance,

Scott.

Just an update...

The company where I bought these from have informed me they're shipping me another one to replace the 'dull' unit.

Just wondering if anything like this has happened before?

I'm hoping that when I test the new one when it arrives tomorrow it'll be bright and crisp like the other X-Scan that's in perfect working order. Fingers crossed, I'm sure it will be.

I'm looking to buy another two of these in about a month to end up with a 4 unit light show + other filler LED's that I've already got.

Could anyone let me know if the brightness of the X-Scan LED's vary or are they all the same? For example, in my case the two units are very different (because there is some kind of fault on one). But when I finally get 4 units, will one be very bright...another quite dull...another kind of in between etc.

I have every faith in ADJ and am looking forward to displaying my light show proudly at venues.

Cheers.
Looking forward to getting the replacement, I had a feeling this unit was 1 in 5000!

Going off subject, I've been watching Brian's video on youtube regarding MYDMX...he refers to someone called 'Jingles' and I'm guessing this is you?

I might have to buy myself a copy as it looks brilliant!

Anyway, thanks for now.

Scott
