X-Scan LED Fix?

I've read about reliability problems with the X-Scan LED, and I have one that's currently not working. Mirror movements seem to work just fine, but the LED won't come on. I haven't had these very long (bought 4 of them refurbished, and my 30 day warranty is up). Is there an easy fix that I might be able to do myself? (I'm fine with soldering etc..).
