Just a quick question as I do not have time to call technical support again.

I have 2 Fog Storm 700's, but thinking of selling one off and getting the 350. BUT, my question pertains to either situation.

I currently have the 1 Fog Storm 700 with the wireless trigger system. Magnet doesn't hold all that wonderful, but it works, so no complaints. Wireless trigger works just fine, so again, no complaints there. Original reason for buying a second was I had a since replaced stinky fog machine, but I haven't even opened up the warranty replacement unit yet. So, I'd have a faill-safe if one went bad/smelly on me.

Now, I have a situation where I want to have one fog machine near one entrance of a venue, hitting little blasts here and there, nothing serious and not really critical either. BUT, at another entrance, I want to hit heavy with fog from time to time, helping to facilitate GRAND entrances and really show the lights during such little "show", 10-18/night. But, I can't be around either one and can't use the wired remotes for either and DMX control is just not cost effective, so wireless it has to be.

So, my question is are the remotes keyed to a specifc frequency as in the remote control trigger and the receiver are a matched pair, or is this just a mass produced item and it's "one size fits all" sort of deal? I've just got to know so I know what my next move is.

Again, along that line, if I switch to a Fog Storm 350(or the smaller unit, whatever it is), is it the same deal: same frequencies? or each line has its own frequencies? I really need independent control.

I might have to s**** both and get the smaller units anyways due to the wattage draws, the 700's just pull too much and I need that for other stuff, such as stage gear, active speakers, amps and what-not(other lights come to mind). Roughly 5-amps is too much to give up. 3 I can live with, but man, those two amps sure make a difference.

Thanks. Even isn't until mid October so I've got time to deal with this.

Chris whenever you have a out of the ordinary question just call and ask for Joey. Anyway on the remote I went and checked. They are all the same you might want to open the remote. see if it has either scratch off or dipswitch. If it does open up the receiver you may be able to scratch off an extra number on both.
Thanks. I'm still on the line with a customer(it's been one of those days). Wife has my keys which have the remote on it.

I'll check into this on Monday. DIP switches would be preferable, but hey, permanent is easier to deal with. Then a little marking tape on one set and it's all good to go.

I am so glad I went with the wireless, that has made my life so much easier, that's for sure.
