windows 7 + VMS4

Hi,
So here I bought a new PC yesterday because the old is falling apart, I have to reinstall all my software with no worries except traktor, it is installed but it does not recognize the VMS4, when I insert the installation CD of it he put an error message like what version of Windows that I use is not compatible, so I'm going to the AA site and download the ASIO driver in 64 bits.
But when I run traktor it does not recognize the VMS4 (the icon of the mixer at the top of traktor is not lit)
I am actually use windows 7 and befor XP
If my message is similar to another issue already filed I am sorry I did not find! Thank you to those who granted me their time.

if windows can see the vms, traktor can do so too.
close traktor. install the newest asio driver for the vms and connect it not before you're asked for.

if you connected the vms before you installed the newest driver, it's likely that a wrong generic driver has been installed by windows.

also check in traktors audio preferences that you choose the vms4 asio driver.

I don't understand , I installed the newest driver and in audio setup on traktor I choose adj asio , I installed the mapping that I used previously with the last PC ( XP version )and it doesn't work !

can you post screenshots?
audio setup, controller manager, ...

and how exactly did you "install" the mapping?

well in " setup " I click on "Import" and then I choose my mapping , as I did the other times !

ok, the importing sounds ok.

screenshots would be good with opened dropdown fields... right now i'm not sure what the problem is.
