I’m currently trying to run mydmx2 on a pc running windows 7 ultimate (64bit), however every time I insert the USB interface it says “USB device not recognized”. So far I have tried:
1) different USB slots/cables
2) numerous “clean” installs with and without the USB device plugged in
3) a “clean” install of the 19thDec beta release (without the USB plugged in)
4) uninstall the “unknown device” within device manager several times
and 5) run the siudidriverV2.exe within the new mydmxbeta folder NB. i did uninstall the aug28 version prior to installing the 19thdec
I have trolled through the forums and can see a few posts with similar issues however they either seem to be unresolved or mostly mydmx1 related. If possible, could anyone help point me in the right direction?? Most importantly, it does work on my old system which is a p4 running XP home so I know it’s not the interface
