Will dmx signal hold if app is disconnected?

Hi, I am a first-time user of mydmx go and have read the manual but cannot find my issue in there.

I am using a client's mydmx go with his iPad. I have built my presets and need to hand off the iPad that is running the show to the talent for them to use with zoom. So it will be logged off of the mydmx wifi and onto a wifi connect to the internet. I need to know if the mydmx go will hold the dmx values when signal is lost and if it has a limit to how long it will hold the dmx values. I read in this forum someone said that if the go app is in the background while another app is being used it will disconnect after 10 minutes. So I am concerned that if it discconects I will loss the preset/look I programmed in the middle of recording. A crew member let me know as we where leaving so I cannot do any tests so I any help would ease my mind. Cheers!!

I did get a response on the Facebook page. I think it best to publish it here as well for the next person who may have the same question.

The response from Facebook was that the mydmx go app will disconnect after 10 minutes if left idle in the background and also when you disconnect from wifi. Someone mentioned that when using there is a way on the hardware manager to have the unit go to a specific preset when dmx is lost but I believe the hardware manager is an additional licences to run on a laptop.
