WiFly v/s WiFlex

I think the main difference between the two is that the wifly is a transceiver and the WiFLEX is not. So if you ever needed to use them in multiple location, with the WiFly, you would be able to. With the wiflex, you would have to first get another transmitter.

Owning both of these systems. I find that the WiFlex system doesn't always work as expected. The WiFly system isn't 100% either, but I've had far less headaches getting the WiFly system working than the WiFlex.

The WiFlex system can sometimes have trouble connecting to each other and you will definitely need the manual to diagnose the blinking LED lights and what they mean. The WiFly system seems to have some trouble passing the DMX signal through the device as a Transmitter (only the pass through hardwire, not the wireless). I usually have to power cycle the device once or twice to get the signal to go through. However, all this being said, I haven't touched my WiFlex unit since I got the WiFly system.
