I recently purchased a WiFly NE1 DMX Controller. A number of ADJ Light profiles that I use were available on the USB provided and I was able to enter them into the controller's light library and patch them. So far, so good. Then I needed additional profiles for ADJ Element ST Hex uplighters and Chauvet 255 Intimidator 255 irc moving heads. I was duly sent these profiles by ADJ Support. This is where my problems started. I downoaded the profiles into the profile file in the USB stick. Both profiles appeared to have entered ino the controller's light library - I got the 'Operation Complete' message for both profiles. However, neither of the profiles seemed to be in the controller's light library and could not therefore be patched. After a long exchange of emails with ADJ Support it was agreed tht the controller might be faulty and I was sent a brand new replacement. However, I continued to have exactly the same set of issues!! So what's going wrong? Have I received a second faulty controller or is there a user error on my part?

Hello John,

sorry to hear you are having issues with the Wifly NE1. When you patch in the lights into the USB are all the other profiles still in the usb stick or do you remove any? Try removing all the profiles and only have one of them put on there and try using load light library to see if it the starts to show up.

Hi The problem has been resolved. I deleted all of the profiles on the USB supplied with the controller. I then downloaded the profiles from the ADJ website. I then added the two profiles that I had been sent by ADJ, All worked very well. It seems to me that ADJ might be sending out corrupted files with new NE1 controllers. Had I known this then it would have saved me hours of head scratching!
