I said in an earlier post on another topic and I quote! "Originally I had a school want the same package however we came up with a better system. They bought the Stage Desk 16, 2 DPDMX20L the cables etc. They bought everything sepreately and payed almost the same as the package if not give or take a little, but they got the extra channels with the 20L. I guess if you want to plan for the future go get everything seperately and spend the extra money on the DPDMx 20L" It all dpends how big of a system you are looking for and if you wan to to plan for the future. E-mail me at Drewmeistr6@yahoo.com and I would be glad to help you work out a system that would be good for you.

Hey man I really suggest you get the DMX operator to contol your stage lighting. You can program up to 240 scenes! Also the controller can hanedle up to 102 channels leaving you with a lot more room for expansion. A sixteen channel board doesn't leave much room for the future. The OPerator gives enough control space for intel's, dimmer packs, etc.
