What Lights Do I Buy?

Dave again, I just read my last post and it wasn't clear on one of the quesitons. I didn't mean to say that the Accu spots were LED. I was wondering if the new LED lights are bright enough to replace my source 4 lights?

hello and welcome. for a 4 thousand dollar budget i would recommend the folowing: check out the p64 blinder from adj. you could get a good wash effect for a good price with that. for movement and colors i would go with either the accu spot 300's or the accu scans 250. either one of those will throw 20 pretty good if not perfect! if u want ot replace your source fours i don't think the leds have the lumens to match what u would expect from a source four par. but you could check out the design 36 led moving head from elation. here is a link: design 36 LED moving head from elation. check it out. and remember those are RETAIL prices you should be able to get it for less than that! my two watts. let me know what u think! peace! jingles out!

Thanks so much for the advice!!! Here's a few questions: R the accu scan 250's better than the accu spot 250II? Can each of the lights you recommended above be hung from our lighting tree (will they be able to easity be hung from our lighting tree)? We have a higher end (priced) pair of tree-stands? We're wanting to light the 12 by 24 stage with colors first, then have moving lights second. If you were me, you had $4000 to spend only, what lights would you go for? Keep in mind we're a portable church and set up/take down being easy is important to our volunteers. Thanks again!!!

I don't stock the Accu Scans so they would be drop shipped from American DJ in California, so it would actually be cheaper then if I was to ship from NY.
