QSC K12s/Ksubs, Yamaha HS80M monitors, Edirol PCR50 Keyboard, M-Audio Fast track Pro, 3rd Laptop for recording and Broadcasting, and some other odds and ends. Some goes on the road, some stays in my Studio. Now in the 20+ years I have been in the business I have used much much more.

do you prepare tracks in your software (and how)? I use other software for prep. I use Acid, Soundforge, Audacity, Fruity Loops, and Ableton for production. I use Final cut, or Pinnacle Studio for video editing.
music style? Everything from Big Band - 50's Crooners, 60's rock, 70's Rock and Disco, 80's Pop & Dance, 90's Pop/Dance/Hip Hop, Millenium Garbage, Old school House, Freestyle, and when I do a mixshow, my favorite Long Melodic Trance.

Most Used Lighting Feature Animation or Strobe effects if doing dance/concerts/parties.
Do you pre-program? Larger shows and shows with time crunches, almost always. Software helps with that a ton. Smaller things, I just whip something up fast.
Lighting Style Do a lot of things old and new school and not afraid to go out of the box. But I generally set up all my shows the same way to make things easy in my head, especially for programing.

Also I have to control the BPM within the class and within the freestyle section. Have to play all sorts of musical style requests. Imagine the worst wedding nightmare for a DJ twice a week. It is a challenge musically which I do enjoy. Club and party
